The testicles contain a specialized tissue called testicular parenchyma, made up of several meters of seminiferous tubules where sperm cells are produced. Surrounding this structure is supportive tissue responsible for producing male hormones, primarily testosterone, which is essential for sperm development.Inside the seminiferous tubules, there are Sertoli cells, which act as a support system for sperm production(spermatogenesis). These cells secrete proteins that help sperm mature and develop properly.
